Automatic trailer skate system for paper reels

Loading/unloading time for 13,5 meters : 90 seconds

The automatic trailer skate system has been designed to load/unload automatically pallets from docks to trailers and vice versa.

The main objective is to reduce handling costs where up to 85% of cost reduction can be obtained in case of shuttle operations.

The system is made up of 4 off 13,5 meters powered skates running from dock in sunken tracks of the trailer loading all pallets in 90 seconds.

A higher plate pneumatically raises the skates both in dock and trailer.

Accumulation of pallet loads or connection to automatic silo on warehouse dock by slat conveyor system.

A fail-safe dock lock and levelling device will be installed for suitable trailer dock connection.

The big advantage over conventional automatic trailer skate system is the integrated slat conveyor system instead of slip chain system in order to avoid damaging the paper reels.

Characteristics:

Trailer/truck : Trailer will be equipped with 4 sunken tracks.

The combined system enables manual loading and unloading when electric supply fails.

Dock: Equipped live roller bed and slat conveyor system for paper reel accumulation and silo connection.
