Transfer plants for urban and industrial waste

Secon AFI presents a new concept of transfer plants to the market of waste management for solid urban and industrial waste.

The traditional concept of a transfer plant for urban and industrial waste used to consist of an hopper connected to a static compactor, in order to fill one or more containers. This kind of transfer plant requires an important construction work because of the necessity to construct a large ramp for the refuse collectors or tippers to reach the hopper.

The new concept of transfer plant for urban and industrial waste presented by Secon AFI consists of a wide conveyor belt which ends directly into a self-compacting trailer, therefore eliminating the necessity of mayor expensive construction work and corresponding licenses.

This new transfer plant is characterized by its simplicity, effectiveness and economy. Moreover this kind of transfer plant is very suitable for temporary solutions because it can be easily demounted and re-used in other places.

Because of its cost effectiveness, this transfer plant by special conveyor system is very interesting for private waste management companies in order to rationalize their transport of industrial waste to the recycling plants or landfills.The mayor cost savings in their transports will recover the transfer plant investment rapidly.
